Makeup Vanity Assembly: From Panels to Finished Setup

A real makeup vanity assembly project from our work, documented from loose components through to the finished vanity and matching stool.

The setup combines drawer storage, open shelving, an upper cabinet and a lighted mirror. The photos below show why a large vanity involves more work than simply attaching legs to a tabletop.

Project Scope

What the Photos Document

The supplied panels, fittings and instruction booklet are laid out in the first photo. Later images show drawer runners attached to a panel, a frame section with connecting hardware, and the completed furniture.

  • Lower storage: drawer units on both sides of the seating area.
  • Tabletop storage: additional drawers across the front of the vanity.
  • Upper structure: open shelves and a cabinet beside the mirror.
  • Finished setup: mirror lighting and the matching stool shown in place.

Why This Is More Than a Simple Table

Several drawer positions mean repeated runner installation and drawer assembly. The upper sections add panels and connections that must fit the lower structure.

For a similar vanity, include the complete product link and any separate stool or storage pieces in your request. A quote for only the tabletop would leave out much of the build.

Three Documented Assembly Stages

These are process photos from the vanity assembly, followed by the finished setup shown above.

Parts & Instructions

Large panels, smaller components and the booklet are visible together. Matching the parts to their diagrams is the starting point for a build with several storage sections.

Drawer Runner Installation

The runners are attached to the panel before the surrounding section is complete. Their position and orientation need to match the instructions for that drawer location.

Frame & Connecting Hardware

The process photo shows an assembled section and fittings prepared for the next connections. The model’s sequence determines how the panels and supports come together.

The Finished Setup

Storage, Mirror and Seating in One Build

The completed photo shows the drawer fronts, handles, tabletop, shelves, upper cabinet, illuminated mirror and stool together. Seeing the whole setup helps define what belongs in a comparable assembly request.

For your project, include every component you want assembled. Required wall attachment, room access and any missing or damaged parts should be reviewed before scheduling.

Budget & Time Guide for a Comparable Build

A large vanity with several drawer sections, shelving, a mirror and a stool takes more assembly than a basic desk. The figures here are an illustrative planning range for a similar complete new build.

The exact product, drawer count, supplied hardware, room access and required wall attachment affect the quote. Missing parts or corrections to earlier assembly can change the work involved.

Comparable-Project Planning Estimate

$250–$400 Illustrative labor budget
3–5 hours Estimated assembly work

Assumes a comparable complete build, supplied parts in usable condition and a clear work area. Crew size and appointment duration are confirmed when the project is reviewed.

Before the Visit

Prepare for Your Vanity Assembly

Choose the final room before the build starts. Leave enough space to lay out panels and work around the furniture.

Have the Full Delivery

Confirm that every box has arrived. Keep part labels, hardware bags and the instructions with the furniture.

Confirm the Position

Allow space for the stool and drawers to move. For supplied plug-in lighting, identify the outlet and keep the cord route clear.

Show Any Started Work

If you have begun, send a photo of the frame, loose parts and stopping point. Include anything missing or damaged before booking.

Project Questions

Before You Request a Similar Build

Is this a real project from your work?

Yes. The process and completed-furniture photos come from our assembly work. The budget and time ranges are clearly labeled estimates for comparable projects, rather than records of this job.

Will my vanity cost the same amount?

Your quote depends on the exact model, complete setup, condition and access. Send the product link, separate pieces and ZIP code so the work can be reviewed before scheduling.

Can you finish a vanity I have partly assembled?

Selected unfinished projects can be reviewed. Send photos of the assembled sections, the remaining parts and where the build stopped. Earlier connections or missing components may need attention before assembly continues.

What information should I send?

Include the product link or model, your ZIP code and every piece you want assembled. For a started build, add an overall photo and a close-up of the unfinished area.
